    Be the Backbone of Risk Control in Telecommunications

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven and strategic **Insurance & Risk Management Specialist** to support our client in the telecommunications industry. In this fully remote role, you’ll play a critical part in managing insurance documentation, reviewing risk-related contract terms, and helping administer commercial insurance and surety bond programs. Your efforts will help safeguard operational integrity and ensure compliance across complex national projects.

     

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Insurance Documentation & Compliance

    + Issue and manage certificates of insurance (COIs) and auto ID cards

    + Work directly with internal teams and external insurance broker (Marsh) to ensure timely, accurate insurance documentation

    + Respond to internal and external certificate-related inquiries

    Contract Review & Risk Assessment

    + Review and interpret insurance and risk requirements in contracts, agreements, and RFPs

    + Advise on insurance language and risk transfer best practices

    + Identify risk exposure areas and help mitigate contract-related liabilities

    Policy & Program Administration

    + Support day-to-day operations of commercial insurance programs (property, casualty, management liability)

    + Gather and validate underwriting data for applications

    + Prepare presentation materials and attend broker/carrier meetings

    + Monitor receipt of binders, policies, endorsements, and quotes

    + Oversee audits and maintain accurate policy documentation

    Property Oversight & Systems Management

    + Maintain Risk Management Information System (RMIS) and update Statement of Values (SOV)

    + Coordinate property carrier site inspections

    Surety Bond Program Support

    + Assist in the administration of surety bonds with internal stakeholders and external partners

    Required Qualifications

    + 2+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or a related field

    + Familiarity with commercial insurance policies and certificate issuance

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with RMIS systems

    + Prior experience working with brokers and insurers

    + Knowledge of surety bond processes and property/casualty insurance terms
