The **HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER PHARMACY DEPARTMENT** has an outstanding opportunity for a **LEAD PHARMACIST - NINTH AND JEFFERSON OUTPATIENT PHARMACY SERVICES (PHARMACIST 4)** .
WORK SCHEDULE
• Full-Time / 40 hours per week
• Rotating/variable shift
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
• Provide day to day oversight of the Ninth and Jefferson (NJB) Pharmacy Services.
• Ensure integration of NJB Pharmacy into overall Outpatient Pharmacy Services
• Help direct staff pharmacists and others in daily operations of the NJB Pharmacy; schedule pharmacist staff
• Collaborate on the training of new staff pharmacists, residents, and interns
• Work with Manager to identify, develop and implement process improvements for the NJB Outpatient pharmacy services
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Continuously monitor the workload of the NJB Outpatient Pharmacy and assign or reassign staff to proactively meet needs of patients.
• Provide direction of the work of pharmacy technicians, interns, students, residents, and pharmacists at the NJB Outpatient pharmacy.
• Provide oversight for NJB Outpatient Pharmacy Services and NJB Pharmacy daily activities.
• Be responsible for daily scheduling of NJB Pharmacy Staff to ensure appropriate coverage to meet state mandated pharmacist to technician ratio.
• Assist with the Controlled Substance Inventories at NJB Pharmacy.
• Assure that organizational policies and procedures and state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice are followed.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Three years experience in pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT
State of Washington Pharmacist license.
