CHMC –Materials Management Clerk – Full Time- Day Shift– Requisition 8810

Pay Range: $17.02-$21.08* The Materials Management Clerk works under the direct supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor. Duties may include but not limited to working in the OR, Packroom, Receiving, and Mailroom positions.

Responsible for performing the administrative tasks involved to receive and deliver all supplies; restock and replenish as needed; maintain adequate amounts of sterile and non-sterile items on shelves at all times; rotate sterile supplies as necessary; perform periodic cycle counts to validate accuracy of the inventory system, perform data entry of receipts for inventory and non-inventory items as well as other inventory issues; enter patient charges. Maintain work areas in clean, neat and orderly condition.

Performs tasks as appropriate in a customer focused service environment; performs other duties as assigned. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, telefax and copiers. May be required to use motorized pallet jack or forklift. May be required to work weekends and some overtime due to operational requirements.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Customer Service skills, basic computer knowledge, communication and telephone skills required. Needs to have a working knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures; Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills to calculate figures. Requirements: Bending, lifting, standing, walking
