When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to Hartford Hospital. *Advanced Practitioner Role Scope * Nurse Practitioners (APRN) / Physician Assistants provide direct lactation support and education to patients and staff to ensure that a high quality, cost effective service is delivered. Advanced Practitioners are responsible for providing comprehensive, advanced, and specialized health services across the continuum of the patient’s lactation experience. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with the Labor and Delivery, Maternity, and Women's health and ambulatory health services.
