    Fibers Extrusion and Raw Material Planner

    Position Overview

    The Corporate Fibers Extrusion and Raw Materials Planner is responsible for translating the S&OP Demand plan from Carpet and to develop Extrusion production plan s . This role will lead and direct the supply planning process across multiple Extrusion manufacturing facilities, including tactical decision-making to align future supply with forecasted demand; align volume and mix within capacity constraints. This role will drive the streamlining of our current planning systems and method s to meet our customer’s service requirements and corporate inventory targets; utilizing advanced planning tools and analytics to continuously meet aggressive performance targets.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize current methods along with advanced analytical tools and solvers to plan fiber and color concentrate inventories that support the Extrusion facilities .

    + Develop and maintain a comprehensive time phased, integrated Fiber and yarn supply plan that optimizes manufacturing capacities and meets desired customer service expectations (OTIF, Fill Rate).

    + Daily, evaluate and modify as needed the fiber and color concentrate supply plan s to drive future production of both carpet and finished yarn within the Value Stream.

    + Make key decisions and direct prioritization to solve capacity constrained conflicts across the Fiber extrusion supply chain.

    + Develop , enhance, and maintain key metrics and fulfill departmental KPIs and objectives .

    + Collaborate with Fiber, Yarn, and Carpet Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales, and Carpet/ Tile/Turf Planning teams to ensure inventory plans meet customer needs and expectations.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor Degree required . 2-5 years of production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations experience.

    + Proven experience using data analytics to solve complex problems

    + Proven ability to work across business units to drive results

    + Strong analytical acumen, ability to think critically at tactical and strategic levels

    + To become proficient in the use of analytical tools; Tableau creator, Data Bricks, ShawAI , Fusion/ Ora cle , etc.

    + Strong sense of urgency and takes an active role in decision making and problem solving

    + Ability to communicate with complex information in a simple and clear manner.

    + Job l ocation is Plant 72, with o ccasional regional travel in GA, SC, AL and hybrid work.

    Preferred

    + Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain concentration preferred

    + Prior experience with automated planning /scheduling systems (OMP , HSRP, Demand Planning, Oracle )

    + Advanced Degree

    + CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification

    + Green and/or Blackbelt trained

    Pay Grade: S0 6 or S0 7 (depending on experience and business - commercial, residential, etc. )

    Work Shift

    8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
