Department: Release of Information
Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible work hours, overtime as needed
Preferred Experience: Innovative attitude with the ability to pivot quickly, a track record of positive team member engagement, proficient with Microsoft Suite technology

What You'll Do:
+ The ROI Supervisor will oversee a team of approximately twenty-eight (28) EMR Specialist, ROI Technicians/Specialist/Leads .
+ The ROI Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: onboarding & training new team members, supervising ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency in the Release of Information Department, field questions, address/resolve complaints, determining operational needs, attending meetings, enforces appropriate disciplinary action, and assists with oversight and management of production and quality control efforts.
+ The ROI Supervisor works in conjunction with the other departments, agencies and Novant Health Privacy office as needed.

This individual will oversee members of the Health Information Management (HIM) department, promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications
+ Education: Associate Degree REQUIRED . 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare related field such as acute hospital, Q10, Fiscal Intermediary, or CMS, REQUIRED .
+ Minimum one year supervisory experience with RHIA credentials, or a minimum of two years’ experience with RHIT credentials, REQUIRED .
+ Experience in medical records with record of notable accomplishments and/or record of successful progression in responsibilities, REQUIRED .
+ Licensure/Certification: RHIA or RHIT certification required. Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) preferred.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
