We are seeking a **Manager, Mission & Quality Assurance** to implement and manage a System Assurance System and specific customer quality flow down requirements throughout the Silent Knight Program under the Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) product area. The selected professional will create or tailor existing planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to the Harpoon program team and supply base.
This is an “onsite” role in McKinney, Texas
**What You Will Do** :
+ Ensure inspectability, testability and producibility are considered during the early development of the systems specification and flow down to lower-level requirements.
+ Engage and manage technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) focused on the technical requirements traceability.
+ Oversee Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to resolve systemic failure review through corrective action items.
+ Provide an integrated perspective of the program’s technical risk that considers criticality, system safety, reliability, test and evaluation criteria and adverse trend (Raytheon and supplier).
+ Review and approve the Engineering program documentation, including specifications, requirements, specification control drawings, altered item drawings, assembly drawings, test plans, procedures, instructions, and standard operating processes prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
+ Assure the impact of advisories, such as supplier, Rapid Information Sharing and Alerts (RISA), Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) and customer advisories, are considered.
+ Have direct interface with program and cross-functional program management, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.
**Qualification You Must Have** :
+ Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience in Quality, Mission Assurance, or Engineering
+ Program Management/Project Management experience
+ Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience
+ Experience with Industry and Government Mission Assurance Requirements and Standards
+ Experience developing Risk & Opportunity Management, assessment, mitigation and capture
+ Experience employing predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and guiding actions to improve performance or mitigate problems
+ Experience using written/verbal presentation skills and Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer** :
+ Experience using the Raytheon Corrective Action System (RCAS) or a demonstrated close loop corrective action system
+ Six Sigma Specialist or Industry Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification
+ Experienced in Earned Value Management and Cost Account Management including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Level II Certification
+ Prior experience with AS9145 or similar program Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements
+ American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer or Manager
+ Past or present member, or chair, of Material and Failure nonconformance review boards (MRB/FRB)
+ Experience with Raytheon Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)/gating or program phasing (nonrecurring/recurring activities)
+ Mission Assurance Lead 3 Certification
+ Current U.S. DoD Secret Clearance

**Onsite** : Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
