OVERVIEW
Position is responsible for preparing quotations and bids for the Sales Team. This includes the preparation of binding quotations required to enter into sales agreements with CMSU customers. Maintain and coordinate communication with HQ and Sales Team to process and prepare Special Pricing Requests (SPRs), quotations, and new orders. Meet and exceed Sales Team expectations for quotation turn-around-times. Responsibilities also include the performance of departmental assignments for Business Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a remote, home office based position: California.
+ Manage quote preparation, order processing, and change orders for assigned Sales Zones and other Sales zones needed.
+ Review Special Pricing Requests (SPRs) from Field Sales to ensure completeness of justification before preparing Quote Financial Analysis (QFA) and supporting documents for executive approval. Communicate all facets of submitted SPRs to Business and Sales Operations management as required.
+ Access and verify Special Pricing Requests (SPR) details for accuracy (Trade-In information, etc.) and acquire signature approval(s) in accordance with Pricing Council policy/procedure prior to releasing quote(s).
+ Conduct peer review of quotation documents prepared by other Quotation Specialists to ensure accuracy of pricing, versioning, custom formatting, proper documentation , and customizations to payment terms as well as terms & conditions.
+ Must develop a strong understanding of Price Book and system configurations to assist Sales Team and ensure quotes result in deliverable products.
+ Audit and route Order Process Approvals in Salesforce to ensure completeness of signed purchase order, signed quote, non-standard terms form, as well as attaching all relevant Sales/Service VP approvals.
+ Communicate current Sales promotions to Zone Sales staff and ensure that submitted quotations and/or SPRs follow promotion terms. Resolve any discrepancies with Quote Department and SBG Management.
+ Resolve customer satisfaction issues and involve Business Operations and/or Sales Operations Management as necessary.
+ Ensure quotes prepared by appropriate Zone Vice President and Zone Business Manager match current product configurations at the time of booking.
+ Manage projects to improve workflow efficiencies within Business Operations tasks and procedures as they relate to quoting, orders, and documentation.
+ Conduct training to Field Sales staff on Oracle quote preparation.
+ Scan complete SPR folder with supporting documentation to shared drive repository on a quarterly basis.
+ Support business needs outside of job responsibilities as directed by Business Operations Management. Other duties may include counseling Sales Team in the correct use of Oracle quoting and providing operational/procedural guidance to other members of the CMSU team as needed.
+ Resolve customer questions and concerns. When necessary, involve Business Operations and/or Sales Operations Management to ensure customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Ability to handle a high-volume environment.
+ Advanced computer skills, including: Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook) and Oracle. Ability to quickly adapt to new system changes.
+ Ability to work with minimal or no direction with strong business acumen.
+ Ability to use diplomacy and good judgment.
+ Excellent written and verbal skills.
+ Use of advanced technical and business vocabulary and a detailed knowledge of company operations, organizational policies, procedures and personnel.
+ 2 Year Associate's Degree Or, equivalent work experience.
+ 2 years Experience in contracts, documents preparation and business operations.
+ **Pay Information: Hourly role (annualy equivalency) min: $55,700.00 to max: $89,700.00**
