Once You Are Here, You Will:

The Lead Applications Developer provides leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. You will direct component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads AD project activities and integrations. The Lead Applications Developer guides teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.

This position provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance. The Lead Applications Developer will lead junior team members with project related activities and tasks. You will guide and influence department and project teams. This position facilitates collaboration with stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• o Leads development/configuration of application modules and the deployment and maintenance of software applications

o Possesses deep point and subject matter expertise primarily for coding and provision of testing services

o Responsibilities include reviewing technical specifications and reengineering complex program components

Basic qualifications:

• Java (8+ years): Strong expertise in core and advanced Java development.

• Angular 14 or higher (3+ years): Proficient in building responsive and dynamic front-end applications.

• Spring Boot (5+ years): Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Microservices Architecture (5+ years): Hands-on experience in designing and deploying microservices-based solutions.

• OpenShift (2+ years): Experience in container orchestration and deployment using OpenShift.

Desired Skills (Back-End Focused):

Google Cloud Platform (GCP):

• Firestore: Experience with NoSQL databases for scalable data storage.

• Cloud Functions: Serverless computing for backend logic and automation.

• Familiarity with other GCP services is a plus.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $63,216.00-$131,700.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
