    This role will be responsible for developing and executing IT strategy management practices aligned with ITIL, COBIT, and IT Business Management (ITBM) frameworks, driving business value through strategic service portfolio management, IT governance, and demand optimization. The successful candidate will leverage their management consulting background to provide strategic insights, develop comprehensive technology roadmaps, and create compelling executive presentations that influence key business decisions while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, risk management, and strategic planning practices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategic Planning & Analysis

    1. Lead IT Strategy Management practice aligned with ITIL framework, developing service strategy and value propositions.

    2. Manage service portfolio lifecycle including service portfolio analysis, rationalization, and strategic alignment decisions.

    3. Perform strategic assessments of technology capabilities using ITIL Service Value System principles.

    4. Lead business relationship management initiatives to understand business needs and translate them into service requirements.

    5. Develop and maintain service value streams and value chain activities that optimize business outcomes.

    IT Business Management & Governance

    6. Lead IT Business Management (ITBM) practices including IT portfolio planning, prioritization, and value tracking.

    7. Implement COBIT framework principles for IT governance, ensuring strategic alignment and value delivery.

    8. Develop and maintain IT investment portfolios with clear business value measurement and strategic outcome tracking.

    9. Establish technology business management practices focused on resource optimization and strategic planning.

    10. Support IT governance committees and steering groups with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

    11. Implement COBIT-aligned risk management practices for technology investments and strategic initiatives.

    12. Drive business value realization programs that demonstrate tangible outcomes from IT investments.

    Management Consulting & Advisory

    13. Apply management consulting methodologies to solve complex technology and business challenges.

    14. Facilitate strategic workshops and planning sessions with senior leadership teams.

    15. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform technology investment decisions.

    16. Develop business cases and ROI analyses for major technology initiatives.

    Executive Communication & Presentations

    17. Create high-impact executive presentations for C-suite and board-level audiences.

    18. Synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.

    19. Prepare and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership committees.

    20. Develop compelling narratives that drive decision-making and secure stakeholder buy-in.

    Performance Management & Continual Improvement

    21. Implement continual service improvement (CSI) practices to drive ongoing strategy optimization and value realization.

    22. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical success factors (CSFs) aligned with ITIL measurement and reporting practices.

    23. Lead service level management strategy development including service level agreements (SLA) and operational level agreements (OLA) frameworks.

    24. Monitor and report on service portfolio performance using ITIL measurement and reporting guidelines.

    25. Facilitate continual improvement initiatives using ITIL improvement methodologies and techniques.

    26. Support the development of service management governance frameworks aligned with ITIL practices.

    Stakeholder Management & Governance

    27. Build and maintain strong relationships with technology leaders, business partners, and external vendors.

    28. Collaborate with enterprise architecture, portfolio management, and other technology teams on strategic initiatives.

    29. Serve as a strategic advisor to technology leadership on critical business decisions using COBIT governance principles.

    30. Partner with business teams on technology strategic planning, investment prioritization, and value realization initiatives.

    31. Support IT governance and steering committee activities with strategic analysis and recommendations.

    32. Facilitate business-IT alignment through structured governance processes and strategic planning sessions.

    33. Lead cross-functional teams in implementing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for technology initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, or related field and experience

    2. 10 years of professional experience with a strong foundation in technology strategy, business analysis, or related fields

    3. Management consulting experience with demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems and drive strategic initiatives

    4. Executive presentation experiencewith proven track record of creating and delivering high-impact presentations to senior leadership

    5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information using ITIL, COBIT, and ITBM frameworks

    6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

    7. Deep understanding of ITIL framework, particularly ITIL 4 and strategy-related practices

    8. Knowledge of COBIT framework for IT governance, risk management, and strategic alignment

    9. Experience with IT Business Management (ITBM) practices including portfolio management and value measurement

    10. Experience with service portfolio management tools and methodologies

    11. Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) platforms and tools

    12. Understanding of business case development for IT services and strategic initiatives

    13. Familiarity with service value chain optimization and value stream mapping

    14. Experience with IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools and processes

    Core Competencies

    1. Strategic thinking with ability to apply ITIL Service Value System principles to business challenges

    2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate ITIL concepts to business stakeholders

    3. Strong project management and organizational skills aligned with ITIL change and project management practices

    4. Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups using business relationship management techniques

    5. Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with focus on continual improvement

    Preferred Qualifications

    1. ITIL 4 Foundation certification required; ITIL 4 Strategic Leader or Managing Professional certification highly preferred

    2. COBIT certification (COBIT 2019 Foundation or higher) strongly preferred

    3. IT Business Management (ITBM) certification or demonstrated experience with TBM frameworks preferred

    4. Experience in financial services or banking industry with ITIL, COBIT, and governance framework implementation

    5. Background with large-scale service management transformations, IT governance implementations, and ITIL adoption

    6. Experience with technology business management platforms (Apptio, ServiceNow ITBM, etc.)

    7. Certification in management consulting methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)

    8. Experience with agile and digital transformation initiatives within governance and service management frameworks

    9. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services technology, compliance, and risk management

    10. Experience with service portfolio rationalization and value realization projects

    11. Familiarity with ITIL-aligned toolsets (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) and governance platforms

    12. Understanding of enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance in financial services
