    Job Description Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation team at MaineGeneral Health. In this role, you will work with patients recovering from cardiac and pulmonary conditions, guiding them through personalized exercise plans, lifestyle education, and emotional support. If you’re passionate about helping others regain their health and independence — and want a Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays — we’d love to hear from you!

    Job Description:

    Position: Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurse (RN)

     

    Shift: Weekdays only – No weekends, no holidays!

    What You'll Do:

    + Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

    + Works directly with patients to guide exercise plans and workouts. Works directly with patients to support healthy lifestyle changes.

    + Evaluates the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides the patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

    + Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Active Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly) – required

    + 5+ years of nursing experience – preferred

    + ACLS certification – preferred

    + Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

    + A passion for patient education and preventive care
