    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Northside Behavioral Health!

    Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

    + **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Sipp-BHA

    + **Location:** Behavioral Hlth King Helie Child

    + **Status:** Pool, Exempt: No

    + **Shift Hours:** 8-hour shifts

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse

    + Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

    + Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

    + Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

    Requirements:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + High School or Equivalent

    + FL Driver's License

    + Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

    + Preferred - CNA/PCT

    Preferred Experience:

    + 6 months - Psychology based experience
