    + Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start (1:30pm; overtime as needed to 3:30pm)

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for a skilled Equipment Assembler with hands-on mechanical and welding experience to join our growing team. **This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and modifying commercial truck equipment including utility bodies, cranes, hydraulics, and liftgates** .

     

    + If you enjoy working with your hands, reading blueprints, and seeing your work roll out the door fully assembled—this is the role for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble and install truck bodies, equipment, and accessories on chassis

    + Perform welding and basic fabrication work as needed

    + Mount and align hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components

    + Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions

    + Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality

    + Safely operate tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and torque wrenches

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + 1–3 years experience in mechanical assembly or welding (preferred)

    + Basic hydraulic and electrical understanding a plus

    + Ability to read blueprints or schematics

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in various positions throughout the shift

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus
