    Description

    Position SummaryWe’re looking for aSolar Inspection Technicianto join our growing team. In this role, you’ll ensure our residential solar installations meet all regulatory requirements and pass inspection the first time. You’ll serve as the key point of contact between Trinity and local inspectors, playing a vital role in delivering a smooth, successful inspection process.

     

    This is a field-based role requiring strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Attend daily meetings with the Inspection Coordinator and Field Manager to align on priorities

    + Perform pre-inspection site audits to prepare systems for final inspection

    + Open panels and junction boxes for inspector access

    + Set up and tie off ladders as needed for safe roof access

    + Affix placards and obtain final inspection stickers as required

    + Take necessary photos and documentation to support inspections

    + Build and maintain positive relationships with local inspection offices

    + Operate independently while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

    + Perform other related duties as assigned

     

    What You’ll Bring

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent; technical education a plus

    + 1+ year of relevant experience (solar, inspections, construction, electrical preferred)

    + Comfortable working at heights and on ladders

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills

    + Proficiency with basic technology (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat); Salesforce experience is a plus

    + Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
