**Department:** Inpatient Rehab
**Location:** Chelsea, MI hospital
**Minimum pay rate:** $15.46/hr + based upon applicable on the job experience
Position Purpose:

The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit
The Inpatient Rehab units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries. Inpatient Rehab is a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists, and specialists.
Our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit has recently expanded to a 40-bed unit and is now accepting higher acuity patients. As part of our commitment to excellence in patient care, we are proud to be participating in the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Model System.
**Shift Available:** Days or Afternoons (Rotating)
**Status Available:** contingent, not benefit eligible
_Requires 3 shifts per month with at least one shift being on the weekend_
Required Qualifications
+ Minimum of high school education
+ Recent unit secretary experience preferred
+ Medical terminology preferred
