Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Manager of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging’s primary function is to assist the Director in establishing and meeting long and short-term goals and objectives for the department, and to provide effective leadership in daily operations, decision-making, and budgeting for the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. + **You will be working in close conjunction with the Director and Medical Director in providing effective leadership for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging encompassing; Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Radiology Business Office and Transport Team. He/she shares responsibility for integrating the department into the hospital’s primary mission.**

+ **You will be supervising and assisting management level personnel and serving as a resource for daily issues within the department including in assisting in direct patient care as needed and sharing responsibility for the management of human resources to include hiring, coaching and counseling, disciplinary actions, and the interview process.**

+ **You will be involved in development, implementation, revision and review of all policies and procedures which affect the department and its patients and staff.**

+ **You will be functioning as Department Director in his/her absence.**

+ **You will be working directly with the Director, and with input from the Medical Director of Radiology, on the department’s budget and helping to assess the need for adequate space and resources including making recommendations via meeting minutes, budget plans, or other documentation used for resource requests.**

What qualifications you will need:

+ American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

+ California Certified Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

+ Must be a high school graduate or equivalent

+ Previous experience as Staff Technologist

+ Previous experience as Senior Special Procedures Technologist or Chief Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, CT, Radiology, Ultrasound

+ Minimum of two years as Chief Technologist in area of expertise

+ CPR certification
