Job Summary and Qualifications

Role Summary: Coordinates the work crew and participates in grounds maintenance and upkeep. Supervises assigned employees. Plans and implements maintenance and landscaping for Transylvania Regional Hospital (TRH) grounds. Maintains clean and safe facility grounds. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent

+ Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree in Horticulture or Landscaping.

+ Required License: Must have a valid NC driver’s license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience, and be at least 18 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.

Located between the towns of Highlands and Cashiers, the hospital offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as long-term care through Eckerd Living Center. Ambulatory services are also available, including therapy services and primary care. Highlands-Cashiers Hospital has more than 24 beds for acute care services and 80+ beds in the Eckerd Living Center.
