Overview:

Fulfills and assists with management of requests for filing and retrieving loan folders and documents for Commercial, Consumer and Residential Mortgage loans.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Research and review customer account(s) to support internal and external requests

+ Perform production work associated with Records Management, including document retrieval, verification, and routing

+ Process and fulfill customer statement requests in a timely and secure manner

+ Monitor individual email, team email boxes, and several Microsoft Teams channels for incoming work, escalations, and general inquiries

+ Provide guidance and clarification to offshore partners on escalated process questions

+ Input account balances on governmental websites (for Social Security applicants)

+ Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements

+ Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

+ Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

+ Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

+ Complete other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Prior experience in banking operations, customer service, or records management preferred

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple workflows

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Education and Experience** **Required :

Associates’ degree or a minimum of 2 years’ work experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

Some post high school education

Minimum of 2 years’ banking experience within an operations unit or the department

Proven data entry skills

Proven personal computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.11 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
