Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Senior OpenShift Admin Engineer to join their team. As a Senior OpenShift Admin Engineer, you will be part of the platform engineering team supporting critical production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
+ Level of experience: Senior level (10+ years), needs to be a self-starter/leader (someone who will be GUIDING the team, no hand holding necessary)
+ MUST HAVE enterprise level work experience (not necessarily FS but big company experience) and CAN’T have multiple short term contracts
+ What they will be doing:
+ Administer and support OpenShift clusters running on RHEL6/7 and SLES11+, including virtualized environments (ESX, bare metal HP ProLiant).
+ Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of OpenShift components
+ Integrate OpenShift with existing enterprise systems including SAN storage, NetApp filers, and Cisco networks
+ SKILLS NEEDED:
+ Deep experience with Linux system administration
+ Experience supporting OpenShift nodes running on IBM Power servers and AIX OS
+ Troubleshooting experience with OS-level issues impacting container workloads
+ Puppet, BladeLogic, Shell Scripting experience to automate OpenShift node configuration and lifecycle management
+ Manage container image repositories and automate deployments using CI/CD tools
+ Integrate OpenShift with enterprise monitoring tools like Splunk, Wireshark, and ESM
+ Monitor cluster health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or enterprise equivalents
