Our client, a global leader in precision measurement equipment, is seeking a** **Field Service Engineer** **to install, maintain, and calibrate machines at customer sites in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and York, PA areas. This is a** **contract role** **with the potential to convert to a permanent position.

What’s the Job?

+ 100% travel position performing installation and machine maintenance, which includes assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, repair, certifications, and re-calibration of machines at customer sites in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and York, PA areas.

+ You will provide the highest customer satisfaction while representing the company in a professional manner

What’s Needed

+ 100% Travel. Must have full availability to travel Mon-Fri week after week (out on Mondays, back home Fridays, only be home on weekends).

+ Need to have a reliable vehicle to use until a company van is available and have clean driving record

+ Should have mechanical and electrical experience

+ For mechanical skills, someone who works on their own car is a good fit, as is someone with experience as a mechanic or mechanical maintenance technician

+ On the electrical side, closed loop servo experience would be very helpful, as well as experience with a multi-meter and oscilloscope

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics

+ Must be a US Citizen (to visit federal facilities under ITAR regulations)

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
