    Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking packing/assembly workers for their upcoming gift boxing project. As a Assembly line/packing worker, you will be part of the Assembly and Packaging Department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Production Job

    Pay Range/schedule:

    Day shift Monday-Friday (Must be able to work Saturdays if needed) 7:00am-3:30pm (possibly later with overtime)

     

    $20.26/hr and paid weekly

     

    This project will run from August 18th-September 18 th with opportunity to continue afterwards.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Unload pork bellies and other proteins off smoked racks for processing.

    + Make and break down boxes for products and recycling.

    + Assist in labeling and placing inserts with products.

    + Palletize products to meet specifications.

    + Maintain a clean workspace by sweeping floors and taking out garbage.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively with trained employees.

    + Checking pouches for leakers: Inspecting the pouches for seal integrity

    + Folding and creating the box itself to create the gift box

    + Putting fish into the gift box

    + Putting bubble wrap into the gift box

    + Could be making master cases

    + Putting labels on the gift box or master cases

    + Casing up gift boxes into master cases

    + Placing full cases onto pallet

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks in the packaging department.

    + Attention to detail to ensure product specifications are met.

    + Commitment to safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    + Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
