    Our client, a well-respected and growing firm in North Central, WV, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team. As a Paralegal, you will be part of a dedicated legal team supporting family law cases. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Paralegal

    **Location:** Morgantown, WV

     

    Pay Range: Up to $850 weekly

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Organize and maintain case files, including pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and exhibits, both electronically and in hard copy.

    + Draft, review, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and settlement agreements.

    + Assist attorneys with all aspects of discovery, including preparing interrogatories and organizing discovery responses.

    + Conduct thorough legal research using online databases to support case development and legal strategy.

    + Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel under the direction of attorneys.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred, but not required.

    + Proven experience as a Paralegal.

    + Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

    + Proficiency in using legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis).

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
