Clean-Up & Setup Crew Member – Local Sporting Venue

Job Description:

Manpower is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals seeking a festive part-time job in the heart of Charleston, WV to join a Clean-Up & Setup Crew for our client at a popular local sporting venue. This role is essential to ensure the venue is clean, safe, and ready for events.

• **Work Schedule:**

Typical workdays:

+ Weekdays: 6:30pm-12:00am

+ Weekends: 3:00pm-7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

+ Set up seating, tables, signage, and equipment before events

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms, seating areas, and common spaces

+ Remove trash and debris during and after events

+ Operate basic cleaning equipment (vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.)

+ Follow safety protocols and venue guidelines

+ Work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods

+ Must be able to be on your feet for several hours during each shift

+ Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude

+ Dependable transportation to and from the venue

+ Previous janitorial, custodial, or event setup experience is a plus but not required

Job Qualifications:

+ Must be at least 18 years old

+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Punctuality and reliability are essential

+ Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and how to use them safely and effectively

+ Must pass a background check and drug test before starting
