Tax Commission Career Opportunity
Revenue Operations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to help lead the development of a newly established Application Processing team. This unit will support the implementation and administration of the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit program. In this role, you will supervise a small team responsible for reviewing and processing applications.
Revenue Operations is also seeking 2 Program Specialists who will know all the programs in Revenue Operations and be able to go where the work flow is at the time. They will help identify trends and work with program staff to resolve technical problems as they relate to tax processing.

The minimum starting rate for these positions is $23.91 per hour
These positions are all located in the Boise Office on the Chinden Campus, 11321 West Chinden Blvd, in Building 2.
Job Responsibilities:
HB 93 Program Specialist:
+ Training and mentoring staff to ensure consistent and accurate processing
+ Handling escalated or complex application issues
+ Verifying applicant responses and supporting documentation
+ Monitoring internal systems for accuracy and efficiency
+ Drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures
Subject Matter Expert Program Specialist:
+ Providing subject matter expertise on specific topics or areas such as IBML, Automated Software, or GenTax.
+ Implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and Agency standards.
+ Delivering training programs to educate employees on specific topics or skills.
+ Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff as needed.
+ Collaborating with other departments or teams to improve workflow and efficiency.
+ Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
+ Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities.
+ Communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page.
+ Providing expertise and solving problems that arise within the team or department, using knowledge and experience to find solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Some knowledge of:
+ management practices;
+ program or project planning and implementation.
Experience:
+ developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
