Description
We're seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager to drive transformative launch initiatives across North America. In this pivotal role, you'll navigate complex operational landscapes, crafting strategic solutions that optimize Amazon's transportation infrastructure and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.
This is a "Field by Design" role requiring approximately 20 travel events within North America (US/Canada) annually.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive launch strategies for new transportation sites and operational integrations
- Drive alignment and consensus across multiple organizational teams
- Develop and implement innovative workflows that enhance operational excellence
- Proactively identify and address potential challenges in complex launch environments
- Establish robust metrics frameworks and provide actionable insights to leadership
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. You'll work closely with diverse teams to design, execute, and optimize transportation site launches, integrations, and operational transitions. Expect to leverage data-driven insights, develop comprehensive launch strategies, and create scalable operational frameworks that set new industry standards.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience in transportation operations management and site launches

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
