Description
Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Neuroscience Data and Coding Specialist to join our client's innovative team in the field of neuroscience research and technology development. The ideal candidate will have a combination of expertise in neuroscience, programming languages, and data analytics to design, execute, and support computational projects in a research or industrial setting.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your coding expertise to cutting-edge neuroscience initiatives that will drive discoveries and innovations in brain health, cognitive science, and behavioral research.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Data Management and Analysis: Develop and maintain data pipelines for large-scale neuroscience datasets, such as neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG, MEG) or electrophysiological recordings.
+ Coding and Development: Write and optimize code for the collection, analysis, and visualization of neuroscience data using programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, or C++.
+ Modeling and Algorithms: Implement machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and computational frameworks to analyze complex neural data and identify patterns.
+ Collaboration with Researchers: Work closely with neuroscientists, clinicians, and technical teams to translate experimental goals into computational solutions.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable data security, privacy, and ethics regulations when handling sensitive brain or behavioral data.
+ Automation and Workflow Optimization: Build automated workflows to streamline data preprocessing, quality control, and reproducibility of experimental methods.
+ Documentation: Provide thorough documentation for software, code, and analysis workflows to support transparency and team collaboration.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in coding and computational analysis in a neuroscience-specific context.
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, R, and/or C++.
+ Familiarity with neuroscience data formats and analysis tools.
+ Experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex datasets.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
