We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will oversee critical accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will work closely with management to provide insightful financial analysis and support key decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:
• Review and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze financial data to prepare detailed reports on the organization’s financial position.
• Prepare and present accurate accounting reports to executives and senior management.
• Reconcile account balances and bank statements to maintain financial integrity.
• Oversee the general ledger and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Supervise inventory counts and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Evaluate job costing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Mentor and guide less experienced accounting staff to enhance team performance.
• Participate in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial standards.
• Support internal and external audits, including tax audits, to ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills to manage deadlines.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, CPA certification, and experience with Sage Intacct software.
• Familiarity with financial audits, tax preparation, and construction accounting is a plus.
