Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Perry, Georgia. In this contract role, you will play a key part in managing commercial and consumer collections, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel in credit and collection processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle commercial and consumer collections, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts.

• Review and analyze customer payment histories to identify discrepancies and develop appropriate action plans.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing procedures.

• Monitor accounts receivable and maintain detailed records of collection activities.

• Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate repayment terms.

• Investigate and resolve disputes related to billing and payments.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.

• Prepare regular reports on collection activities and account statuses for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations throughout the collection process. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections, with a strong understanding of credit and billing processes.

• Familiarity with collection strategies and best practices.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle client interactions.

• Proficiency with financial software and tools used in collections.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.

• Ability to analyze financial data and develop actionable plans.

• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards in collections.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
