    Role Overview

     

    This role is part of the Client Services Accounting team, which plays a key role in delivering high-quality financial support and reporting. The associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting cycles, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Operations Support

     

    + Prepare journal entries, cash forecasts, and quarterly financial statements

    + Perform accounts payable functions and monitor liquidity needs

    + Reconcile bank, brokerage, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts

    + Review investment valuations, personal loans, and other financial data

     

    Partnership & Communication

     

    + Interface with clients, estate managers, and vendors to process payments and respond to inquiries

    + Collaborate with internal teams on accounting for real property, investments, and asset transfers

    + Partner with finance, tax, and client services teams to enhance reporting and service delivery

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

    + Experience in accounting operations for trusts, LLCs, and real property

    + Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles

    + Proficiency in Excel; experience with Sage Intacct and Bill.com is a plus

    + Ability to manage multiple deadlines and solve complex problems independently

    + Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    + Commitment to confidentiality and discretion
