Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Lexington, South Carolina. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of financial records while supporting critical operational needs. Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.

• Support the transition of accounting processes and documentation as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting workflows.

• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to assist management in decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as required. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, with a strong focus on month-end close processes.

• Proficiency in general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.

• Strong background in account and bank reconciliation.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
