Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Billing Specialist for a law firm in Bellevue, Washington. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of client billing processes within a meticulous services environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating precision, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and manage billing data accurately to ensure seamless processing.

• Generate, print, and distribute financial reports as required.

• Prepare and process draft invoices for review and finalization.

• Address client inquiries related to billing in a prompt and detail-oriented manner.

• Edit and finalize timekeeper entries to maintain accurate records.

• Record and post client payments in the billing system.

• Handle specialized billing requests and ensure compliance with client requirements.

• Provide administrative support to the billing department and assist with ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements • Associate degree or equivalent, with relevant accounting or administrative experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.

• At least 1-2 years of billing experience, ideally in legal or client-focused services.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and willingness to support team initiatives.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in challenging situations.
