    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our client in Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract to full time position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys helping customers resolve issues effectively. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, empathy, and a team-oriented approach to every interaction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage a high volume of incoming calls, exceeding 100 calls per day, while maintaining an attentive and empathetic tone.

    • Upload and organize over 20 documents daily into appropriate files with precision and attention to detail.

    • Handle challenging customer interactions, including irate callers, with patience and problem-solving skills.

    • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless customer service experiences.

    • Utilize multi-line phone systems proficiently to handle simultaneous tasks.

    • Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask in a dynamic and demanding work environment.

    • Maintain a focused demeanor and pleasant attitude during all customer and team interactions.

    • Ensure customer inquiries are resolved promptly, meeting or exceeding service expectations.

    Requirements

    • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in high-volume call environments.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications.

    • Skilled in using multi-line phone systems.

    • Exceptional multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing competing priorities effectively.

    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage document uploads and customer records accurately.
