Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with an industry-leading healthcare organization to identify their next contracts manager to jump in and help offset workload.

Pay Rate: $35 - 40 an hour

Duration: 12+ months

Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate vendor negotiations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

+ Conduct vendor risk assessments and due diligence processes to ensure compliance and safeguard organizational interests.

+ Provide expert consultation to leadership and business units on vendor selection, tools, and best practices.

+ Oversee the adoption and adherence to decentralized vendor management processes across the organization.

+ Negotiate vendor agreements, including strategic-level contracts, with an emphasis on cost management and risk reduction.

+ Support the implementation of vendor management programs, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.

+ Drive innovation within vendor management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

+ 4+ years' experience in contract management (procurement experience HUGE PLUS!)

+ 2+ years' experience leading cross-functional teams, negotiations and consensus building.

The salary range for this position is $35-40/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
