Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing payable information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth vendor communication. If you excel in organization and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage petty cash accounts and accurately record all outgoing disbursements.

• Monitor vendor payment agreements to identify and utilize available discounts.

• Ensure timely payment of sales tax on applicable invoices and document each transaction.

• Track company credits and apply them effectively to vendor payments.

• Reconcile monthly payable reports to verify the accuracy of all payments made.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve outstanding invoices and discrepancies.

• Review and analyze expense reports to assign payments to correct cost centers.

• Maintain up-to-date records for accounts and assist with invoicing tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for clear and effective vendor interactions.

• Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data efficiently.
