Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis for a one-month project. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and focuses on supporting key accounting functions, including journal entries and audit preparation. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

• Assist with audit processes by gathering and organizing required documentation and data.

• Manage reclaim filings by compiling relevant financial information and ensuring compliance.

• Utilize NetSuite to perform accounting tasks and generate necessary reports.

• Leverage advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for data analysis and reporting.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records through regular review and reconciliation.

• Collaborate with team members to address accounting queries and resolve discrepancies.

• Support month-end and project-specific accounting tasks as required. Requirements • Proven experience working with NetSuite in an accounting capacity.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Strong understanding of general ledger and journal entry processes.

• Ability to compile and organize documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

• Prior experience in a contract or project-based accounting role is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable.
