    Position Overview

    As a Senior Accountant in the Full-Time Engagement Professionals program, you will focus on general ledger (GL) management and financial reporting activities for our clients. This role provides an opportunity to work with innovative companies across various sectors while benefiting from the stability of full-time employment with Robert Half.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee and manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes.

    + Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies.

    + Analyze and adjust accounts as necessary to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.

    + Assist clients with variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally to support internal and external audits, regulatory compliance, and other financial reporting needs.

    + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows.

    + Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for clients, bringing expertise and problem-solving skills to every engagement.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger management and financial reporting.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, and financial statement preparation.

    + Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

    + Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse teams.

    + Flexibility to adapt to different client environments and industries.
