As a **Unarmed Security Officer - Distribution Site** in **Tampa, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to incidents, and support a culture of teamwork and integrity. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities, following all site-specific guidelines.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
