• Property Manager

    Description

    Are you passionate about affordable housing and making a positive impact in your community? Do you have experience managing properties using YARDI software and a deep understanding of TCAC regulations? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee our affordable housing community.

    Position Details:

    + Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee daily operations of affordable housing properties while ensuring compliance with TCAC (Tax Credit Allocation Committee) guidelines.

    + Manage resident occupancy, from applications and leasing to renewals, adhering to affordable housing regulations.

    + Utilize YARDI software for property management, including tracking expenses, preparing reports, and maintaining resident and property records.

    + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including rent restrictions and verification of income eligibility.

    + Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

    + Supervise maintenance and ensure the grounds and facilities are well-maintained.

    + Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost controls are in place.

    + Collaborate with other teams to optimize property performance and resident satisfaction.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2-3 years of property management experience in affordable housing.

    + Proficiency in YARDI software.

    + Knowledge of TCAC regulations and compliance standards.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    + Proven ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

    + Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to serving residents in affordable housing communities.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in property management or affordable housing are a plus.
