Description

Robert Half looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our client on a part-time, contract basis in Dublin, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, handling voluntary deductions, and managing garnishments. This position requires expertise in payroll systems, including Workday and ADP, and offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and process employee timesheets accurately within the Workday system.

• Manage voluntary payroll deductions and ensure proper handling of garnishments.

• Coordinate payroll data entry and assist with payroll processing through Workday and ADP.

• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.

• Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Support the generation of payroll reports and provide insights to management as needed.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

• Stay updated on relevant payroll laws and best practices to improve processes.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.

• Proficiency in Workday and ADP payroll systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, garnishments, and voluntary deductions.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other office tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
