Description We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex legal cases and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal documentation and consent decree processes.
Responsibilities:
• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities.
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas.
• Conduct thorough research on legal and regulatory compliance matters to support case strategies.
• Manage consent decree processes, ensuring all required actions are accurately documented and completed.
• Maintain and organize case files and databases for efficient access to legal information.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of court filings and other legal documents.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements for attorneys.
• Prepare summaries and reports related to case developments and compliance status.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline legal workflows and improve operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on compliance and consent decree processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification preferred.
