Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a position that requires a detail-oriented individual with property accounting expertise and a strong grasp of financial reporting practices. The ideal candidate will bring analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple entities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Prepare and post journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and accruals to support monthly and year-end financial close.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.

• Utilize MRI Software to handle property management tasks, including tenant ledger updates, billing, and financial reporting.

• Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analyses in compliance with accounting standards.

• Support internal and external audits by organizing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline invoice routing and approval workflows using Avid DS and related tools.

• Maintain organized records and shared files using SharePoint for efficient reporting and collaboration.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in month-end close processes, including general ledger management and journal entries.

• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with MRI Software for property and financial management.

• Familiarity with Avid DS for invoice processing and approval.

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
