Description

We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in Camden, New Jersey. As part of this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized financial records. This role is ideal for detail-oriented Billing Clerk with an aptitude for working with computerized billing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices and billing statements to clients in a timely manner.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure prompt collection.

• Maintain and update billing records using computerized systems to ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries.

• Generate reports related to billing activities for management review.

• Assist in reconciling accounts and verifying transaction details.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the billing process.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within billing operations.

• Support audits by providing relevant billing documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Familiarity with billing functions and procedures.

• Experience with computerized billing systems is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to handle billing collections while maintaining professionalism.

• Proficiency in generating and managing billing statements.

• Effective communication skills for addressing discrepancies or customer concerns.

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to process improvements.
