    Description

    Our client, a highly respected boutique plaintiff-side employment law firm, is seeking a talented Employment Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join their growing team. This Employment Attorney role offers the chance to work closely with experienced partners on impactful cases while gaining hands-on experience and ownership of files from day one.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage a caseload of plaintiff employment matters (wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour).

    + Handle cases from intake through resolution — including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial prep.

    + Draft and argue motions in state and/or federal court.

    + Conduct client interviews, provide updates, and maintain strong client relationships.

    + Collaborate with a tight-knit team on case strategy and trial preparation.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred).

    • Skilled in drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.

    • Courtroom experience — motions, mediations, and/or hearings.

    • Strong writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.

    • Passion for employee rights and boutique firm culture.

    Requirements

    • Active California Bar license is required.

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation.

    • Graduate of a reputable law school; preference for top 50 institutions such as Loyola, Pepperdine, or Southwestern.

    • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in handling discovery processes, including depositions and expert witness coordination.

    • Familiarity with employment law, including wage & hour disputes.

    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases effectively.
