About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Associate to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven investment firm focused on frontier technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to cutting-edge sectors, including blockchain, AI, and other emerging areas.

As a Finance Associate, you will support fund operations, audits, investor reporting, and strategic initiatives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance across multiple fund structures.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Reporting

+ Review quarterly reports and capital statements prepared by fund administrators.

+ Reconcile digital asset transactions and maintain accurate records.

+ Serve as a liaison with fund administrators and investors.

Annual Audit

+ Review annual financial statements and coordinate with auditors.

+ Manage audit documentation, including confirmations and valuation memos.

Fund Operations

+ Support capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investment funding.

+ Track investment data and valuations in internal systems.

+ Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

+ Assist with investor inquiries and SPV-related processes.

+ Support tax compliance, including K-1 and tax return reviews.

+ Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field.

+ 3–5+ years of experience in asset management auditing or accounting, with at least 2 years in venture capital or private equity.

+ CPA preferred; passing FAR & REG required.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Interest in emerging technologies such as crypto or AI is a plus.
