Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Registration Specialist on a contract basis. This position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and involves direct interaction with patients to ensure a seamless registration and scheduling process. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient registration and admission processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist patients in completing necessary forms and provide guidance on registration procedures.

• Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars to optimize workflow.

• Verify medical insurance coverage and address any discrepancies or issues.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to resolve inquiries or concerns.

• Ensure adherence to privacy standards and confidentiality policies during all interactions.

• Participate in rotating weekend shifts every six weeks once fully trained.

• Collaborate with other departments to support seamless patient care and administrative operations. Requirements • Previous experience in patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare administration.

• Familiarity with medical insurance verification processes and healthcare systems.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage patient records and schedules.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality standards.

• Proficiency in healthcare software systems and basic computer applications.

• Availability to work rotating weekends as part of the schedule.
