Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, provide strategic direction for budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic accounting team while driving process improvements and supporting organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of monthly consolidated financial statements, dashboards, and reporting packages within established deadlines.

• Direct and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering collaboration and encouraging growth while tracking progress toward objectives.

• Supervise daily accounting operations and provide guidance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with credit agreements and covenants, prepare lender reports, and manage accounts receivable revolving processes.

• Manage banking relationships and oversee all related transactions.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement for accounting processes, controls, and segregation of duties.

• Coordinate cross-departmental efforts for annual system upgrades, ensuring seamless implementation.

• Oversee the preparation and support of external audits, acting as a primary liaison with auditors.

• Maintain cash flow forecasts and financing records to ensure effective financial planning. Requirements

• Proven experience in document control, scanning, and compiling financial documents.

• Expertise in financial reporting and cost variance analysis.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams.

• Advanced skills in budgeting and forecasting.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements related to credit agreements and insurance renewals.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.

• A degree in accounting, business administration, or finance

• CPA designation (inactive or active), strongly preferred

• A minimum of 8 years of financial experience of increasing responsibility

• Clear understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, cash flow dynamics, and management towards profitable growth

• High proficiency working directly in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills

• A degree in accounting, business administration, or finance

• CPA designation (inactive or active), strongly preferred

• A minimum of 8 years of financial experience of increasing responsibility

• Clear understanding of inventory management, cost accounting, cash flow dynamics, and management towards profitable growth

• High proficiency working directly in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills
