Description We are looking for an experienced iSeries / AS400 RPG Programmer to join our dynamic team in Novi, Michigan. In this position, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining programs that enhance organizational productivity and efficiency. This is a Contract-to-Permanent opportunity, offering the chance to contribute to impactful projects while growing professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new programs as well as enhance existing applications for the company's iSeries / AS400 system.

• Build full-stack solutions, including user interfaces, program logic, and database components.

• Collaborate with business teams to identify and implement solutions that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

• Create detailed user and system documentation to support developed programs.

• Coordinate implementation processes, including training and support for new applications.

• Participate in testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

• Work with cross-functional teams to align programming solutions with company goals.

• Develop and integrate APIs to extend system functionality.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance technical capabilities. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in programming with AS400/iSeries RPG, including Free-format RPG.

• Strong understanding of functional system knowledge and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with APIs and integrating them into existing systems.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.

• Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools.
