    Description We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment within the printing and publishing industry. The ideal candidate will bring precision, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to efficiently manage high-volume invoicing and financial tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process approximately 40 invoices daily with accuracy and attention to compliance requirements.

    • Perform 2-way matching of invoices and purchase orders to ensure seamless payment processing.

    • Execute wire transactions promptly and accurately to meet payment deadlines.

    • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.

    • Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas, for reconciliations and reporting.

    • Maintain organized records and support month-end and year-end financial processes.

    • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize accounts payable operations.

    • Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices in line with company policies.

    • Work with various financial systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, QuickBooks, Oracle, and NetSuite to manage transactions effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar high-volume financial role.

    • Proficiency in 2-way matching processes and handling wire transactions.

    • Advanced knowledge of Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

    • Familiarity with financial systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, QuickBooks, Oracle, and NetSuite.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex workflows.

    • Excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams and with vendors.

    • Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions to resolve issues.

    • Knowledge of coding invoices and purchase orders for accurate financial reporting.
