Description
Our client is a growing residential mortgage company focused on delivering personalized home loan solutions with top-tier service. They are seeking a reliable and detail-driven Loan Processor & Servicing Specialist to support both the front-end processing of home loans and the ongoing servicing of existing accounts.
Loan Processing Duties:
+ Manage residential mortgage loan files from application through closing (purchase and refinance)
+ Collect and review borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, insurance, etc.)
+ Order third-party services such as appraisals, title work, and verifications
+ Prepare files for underwriting and ensure conditions are cleared in a timely manner
+ Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and closing agents to ensure a smooth process
+ Ensure compliance with lending guidelines and investor requirements
Loan Servicing Duties:
+ Maintain accurate records for active loans, including escrow, payment history, and insurance status
+ Respond to borrower inquiries about payments, escrow adjustments, and loan terms
+ Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with outreach or resolution when needed
+ Process loan payoffs, modifications, and releases
+ Coordinate with accounting on payment application, reconciliations, and reporting
+ Ensure servicing activities meet all regulatory and compliance standards
Requirements
+ 2+ years of experience in loan processing, servicing, or both
+ Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products and regulations
+ Familiarity with loan origination and servicing platforms (e.g., Encompass, Black Knight, or equivalent)
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
+ Ability to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience with FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans
+ Exposure to servicing compliance, escrow management, and payment reconciliation
