Description

We are looking for a skilled Tax Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of sales tax compliance, ensuring timely filings and accurate reporting. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in tax management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit monthly sales tax filings with accuracy and timeliness.

• Review and approve bills and expense reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

• Manage all aspects of sales tax reporting, including reconciling and auditing tax data.

• Utilize Concur and SAP systems to process and analyze tax-related transactions.

• Monitor changes in sales tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Provide oversight and guidance on sales tax processes to improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve tax-related issues.

• Maintain organized records of all tax filings and related documentation.

• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

• Develop and implement best practices for sales tax management.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales tax management or a related field.

• Proficiency in using SAP and Concur systems for tax processes.

• Strong knowledge of monthly sales tax filings and reporting.

• Experience with sales tax returns and compliance requirements.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze and resolve tax discrepancies effectively.

• Familiarity with changes in sales tax regulations and their implications.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
